Blank New Project UE5 Prev2 - Compiling Shaders

When you start a new blank project, it compiles over 10k shaders. It took about 30minutes before I can even do anything.

As much as I appreciate UE5. Is there any way, any workaround to NOT load or compile so many shaders when launching a new blank project?

I don’t need so many materials, in fact. If we do have a blank project setup, I wouldn’t need for the start even one material.

Isn’t there any workaround, to unload or remove all those materials before launching a new blank project?

Appreciate it!

I second this! Had no issue whatsoever opening a new project in the previous UE5, now my new project compiled shaders at 45% load - took forever… then AGAIN at 70%.

yeah, not sure why we would need to compile 10k shaders when opening a blank template?

It’s been long enough. Is Epic going to answer this question or not?

I guess nope.
