I have created a SceneComponent with a SkeletalMesh and attached to my Character class, all in C++. When editing a blueprint created from my character class, and selecting the Skeletal mesh of this component, the details panel is blank. If I place the BP into the level and select it in the World Outliner, then select the Skeletal mesh in the detail panel, I am able to see its details.
Recreating the blueprint does not help, and I have tried several different UFUNCTION properties. This is happening in multiple projects, and I have created a simple project the reproduces it [and uploaded here.]
