Blank blueprint upon opening blueprint editor

When i open BP of my Object - its opened normal. Then? when i close BP and open again - its all wrong =))

When open first time a BP of some object you create and save any function in this BP, then close and open - its allright.
But, if you dont do anything in BP and close then open - you have problem.

Is this on PC?

  • Have you tried restarting your computer completely and opening your project up? If so, did this work for you?
  • Have you tried going into your project folder and deleting following folders: Intermediate, Config and Saved
  • Could you please create a new blueprint template and tell me whether or not this still occurs, or if it’s just this specific project?
  • Did you obtain editor from Source or Binary?
  • What version of editor are you on, you can find this by going to ā€˜Help’ > ā€˜About Unreal Editor’

  3. its problem happened in any project (top, 3camera, 1camera, slide) with any bluprint.
  4. dont understand ur q. i us only standart engine without any hard =)

Please go into your project folder and delete following folders: Intermediate, Config and Saved. Once you’ve done that, please reopen your project and let me know whether or not that fixes issue you’re running into or not.

Can you also click on ā€˜Class Defaults’ and see if anything changes in Blueprint Editor for you.

Does this happen on C++ projects that you create blueprints in?

I did, but nothing change.
I cant start new project with C++, becouse tne engine needs visual studio, but i have’t.

Hi - having exactly same issue - create a Blueprint Class, double click to edit it, closing window and then reopening displays an empty window (as per screen grabs in original post).

Version: 4.15.3-3450819+++UE4+Release-4.15
Mac OS 10.12.5 (16F73)

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Have just upgraded to 4.16 and not experiencing in that version

In my 4.16 editor I have same issue in half of Blueprints, material instance and animations!

In material instance or animations I don’t have this options. Help!

Hey I just found a solution. When you open it up and it just gives you blank BP click on window and pull up class defaults. It will open up panel full screen. At top there should be an option to ā€œopen full editorā€ highlighted in . Click that and you should be good to go.
