Blackmagic Decklink 4k in Unreal Engine 4.24

Hello,

I recently got into Unreal Engine 4. As I have a Decklink SDI 4k capture card I want to use it to get a Camera input into Unreal. I tried this with UE4.26, however, the Blackmagic Design Media Player plugin only exists for UE4.24.
I now downloaded this plugin from the UE Marketplace and added it inside the launcher. When I start UE4.24, the plugin doesn’t appear in the Pugin window.

How can I add the plugin to get my video input in Unreal?

The Error message that Unreal gave me when I used the generic Media Player in UE4.26 was:

LogWmfMedia: Error: Failed to create capture device media source: The data specified for the media type is invalid, inconsistent, or not supported by this object

When I use integrated Blackmagic Media Source as a media input, under Blackmagic > Configuration, in the dropdown I get the message no configuration found.

I checked that the Decklink input works with OBS.

What do I do?

Thank you

Hi Toni, i have i think the same problem but with UE 5.4.4. My decklink works well with Davinci Resolve (beause i want to send the video out) but my plugin Blackmagic doesn’t want to find my decklink
