Blackmagic camera: Live Input freezes after short time and after mouse movement

Hey Guys

We are working with Green Screen and Blackmagic Camera on Unreal Engine 5.
The live stream freezes after a while. And even when you move the mouse, the Live-input is blocked immediately.

We then have to click on “Request Close Media” and “Request Play Media” in Media Bundle to keep it running for now, until then the problems reappear.

Warning was like: FPS is too slow or buffer is too small

Same here, i tried media player, media bundles and AJA source, none worked in the editor nor in game mode. AJA IO 4K plus is recognized but Log Files say buffer too slow and no timecode ??

Any chance you made this work? I have the same issue

We gave up two months ago, because at least it works on Unreal Engine 4 for now.

But I hope that the bug will be fixed. By whoever. Unreal or Blackmagic.

(Impressive that it has not been fixed until now, because I had already read similar post as here a year ago.)

We came with a sort of solution for the time being… We used not the Blackmagic PCI Decklink card but a usb capture card. It works like a charm and also you don’t need any plugin is just like you connect a web camera…

It normally works with the Aja IO 4K USB-C. You don’t have to use the plug-in
