hi some advice would be helpful on how to to fix my issue
iam really really new to unreal engine 5 in fact ive never used any program of this sort before !
when i open a new blank project i get a blank black screen im unable to edit the project for some reason i can hit play and see the project move around etc but as soon as i hit esc back to the edit ing of the project black blank screen
funnily this worked fine a few days ago when i first installed the launcher and unreal engine 5 come to start trying out the program for real today and i get this issue
please help !

Can you see the window menu? Try
Window → Load layout → Default editor layout

Can you check the Project Settings->Maps & Modes?
Edit → Project Settings → Maps & Modes
Than check the Default Maps Property. You should have something on your Editor Startup Map.

strangely i dont remember messing around with that when i first launched the program
i even tried downloading on my gaming rig to see if it was a software bug
