Hello, I exported a character from Daz 3d to Blender. In blender, the eyelashes are outlined in a black outline, but it is not visible during rendering. Then I export from Blender to Unreal Engine and the black outline of the eyelashes is also transferred and I don’t know how to fix it.
The black outline on the eyelashes is likely caused by the way transparency is handled when exporting from Blender to Unreal. Here are a few things to try:
- Material Settings in Unreal: Check the eyelash material in Unreal and make sure it’s set to “Masked” or “Translucent” blend mode, depending on the effect you want.
- Alpha Channel in Texture: Ensure the alpha channel is correctly applied to the eyelash texture, as Unreal sometimes misinterprets it.
- Double-Sided Material: Enable “Two Sided” in the material settings if the black outline appears from certain angles.
Hopefully, one of these helps!
I tried the first option, if you set the transparency, then everything becomes transparent, both the eyelashes and the black outline, as if everything is in one layer.
