Black Alder trees "melting"

Some of the black alder trees appear to melt: UE5 Black Alder melting tree problem - YouTube

Can anyone tell me what might be going on here? I’m in 5.2.1

Are those the “pivot painter” variation or the other?

Did you add the trees to a project created using the VR Template?

I have the same problem when planting them using foilage. Placed them as assets in editor seems to go fine.

Hello, thank you. I am using the Game template.

I figured out that if I check on the “Advanced Wind” option in the material settings the problem goes away.
