Hi, I’ve just started learning UE5 by following a tutorial on YouTube. I’m now on the part introducing Quixel Bridge content, that is integrated in the software.
But here’s my problem: it just doesn’t show up. when I go in the "Add’’ section that is located in the Content browser; it just shows me “import to…” or “Add feature or content pack” along with the other stuff you can add. I tried checking for it in my plugins, installed Bridge itself (I admit being a bit desperate at that point.) But nothing, absolutely nothing I tried worked.
Have you launched the engine from the Epic Launcher? Have you logged into the marketplace in the launcher?
Maybe you need to go to the Quixel page and also sign in there first, to link up your Epic account?
(Make sure you click the “Unreal Engine” button on the left-down side)
Yes, I only see Import Content. Unreal Marketplace and Content Browser. I tried everything, nothing works, but ill try variations of what you suggested. thank you so much.
Quixel bridge does not seem to available in my vault or the marketplace either (But surely, if it is now built into UE5 I shouldn’t need to install it anyway!)
Could I be missing something basic like the function now having a new name and location in the menu structure, for example?
I had the same issue, and i found solution. You must instal plugin from Bridge - go to Edit and Manage plugins. Download the Unreal Engine plugin, and after that the plugin appear in you vault. Then like Pollte_Muon show you “Install to Engine”. And rest like Unreal show on the video.
