Beware. Getting spam emails from clickup FAB

Im getting spam emails from clickup. They are asking credit card information. Beware

Also received one, definitely scam, unfortunately google marked it as “important mail”

Can confirm recieved same message as well looked suss AF

I got the same email and many before it.

Seller support emails are publicly available at the seller profile page. Fab does not do anything to hide them from unregistered users and bots, unlike the old UE Marketplace, which hid emails until users had to click a button to view them.

Got one yesterday, definitely Scam. So Google and Fab are just gonna let it slide??

Just got this through, to the email address I have on my products for users to contact me, which is not the email address I use with fab directly! So looks like it’s been harvested from the product page.. also, why would official fab emails come from hotmail and gmail accounts! Got to be a scam!

I also received those ClickUP emails. Now the scammers are getting more sophisticated. These guys even scraped my watermarked portfolio images to look more legit.

We are getting bombarded with spam as creators. If I would have known that they just display your email without requiring login and/or a captcha I wouldn’t have registered with Fab.

There is a pattern to these emails - all of them want to go off platform and submit some 3D models, presumably to extract work from you and re-sell the models themselves. Remember to watermark your screenshots and add your creator page link as meta data to all of your files, say in a hidden texture field.
