Better object aligning/rotating in the world (CAD like way)

Is there any plugin for better object alignment in the world? I would like to do something like select the bottom left corner of the object and align it in the middle of the face of another object exactly. Or click on the two points on the object and rotate the object to have this line defined by these points vertically. Do it by manual rotating and moving is extremely slow :frowning: Some CAD-like object manipulation.

For example when I want to add a simple cube between two walls. I would like to simply grab one side and align it to one wall and then grab a second side and drag and drop it to the other wall and the object will scale automatically to fit space between walls. Currently, I need to move pivot the to one side to do something like that And need to manually figure out some scale value to set the proper size. Until it is in some bigger grid, it is possible, but without grid it is a nightmare.
