Best way to recreate Epic skeleton for custom mesh?

Right now I’m skinning my character to the Epic skeleton, but what exactly do I do with the IK bones? Does anyone have a good tutorial to follow (in Maya)?

I would prefer to use the ART tools, but ARTV1 is quite outdated, and I can’t get ARTV2 to work in Maya 2020.

I have also considered using Uefy in Blender.

What’s the easiest way to recreate the Epic skeleton? I’m not an animator and will be using (processed) Mixamo and other free animations.

if you want tu use mixamo, maybe it will be easier to retarget your anims, or just to use the mixamo skeleton i think.
overwise you can export the skeleton in fbx, and import it in maya and use it as a rig. but you will have to retarget if you change bones scales.
