Best way to re-import a skeletal mesh?

I have a skeletal mesh all setup in U4. I needed to refine the skin weighting for my character. I dont want to overwrite the work that I’ve done, what options should I select/deselect when I import the updated FBX?


I personally just export the skeletal mesh with the same name -> then I import it and overwrite everything. Another way is to just open the skeletal mesh -> go to reimport :slight_smile:

I was worried that I might have to re-target my mesh again to Epics animations, but dragging-and-dropping worked. Thanks!
