In order to free up some space, ive installed a new SSD to store UE. I currently have my Vault Cache and UE5 installed there, but its my install of 4.27 im stuck on. Ive seen posts about using symlinks, but i’m wondering what would be the cons of uninstalling 4.27 and reinstalling to the new drive? What am I going to lose?
You wont lose anything…just the installation of the plugins you own (you can just manually copy/replace the new plugins folder with the old one.
Just backup your plugins folders, uninstall, reinstall in new location and put your plugins again.
