Best way to load/unload huge 2D textures for Android

Hello guys! Newcomer here!

I am making a 2D mobile game and got lots of images (around 480p). I guess, its a bad idea to set em in a huge atlas (spritesheet)

what’s the optimal solution ( I know a few but can’t decide), regarding loading/unloading (2 - 3 of them), without affecting the gameplay neither loosing resolution??
