Best way to animate and edit animations inside of UE5.2

We have tried a couple different methods of making animations and all them seem pretty intesive workflows. I understand it would probably be better to do it in Blender, but if we were to do make animations and edit animations inside of ue5.2 what is the best way? I have tried level sequence but that invovles deleting the key frames that were present and then tracking it again and then rebaking the animation. I tried to alter the bones inside of the animation window which didn’t seem to impact anything. Any suggestions. We are both noobs with animations.
