Best Way Of Importing 2D Images From Blender to Unreal Engine for Flipbooks?

Hello, I am using Blender for creating models, then animating them and rendering them as images and create 2d flipbooks in Unreal Engine 5.

I rendered the animation for 90 frames first, with 1080x1080 resolution, which ended up having a storage of about 115mbs. So I imported 8 frames with 128x128 resolution, but it ended up extremely clunky and it pixelated a lot. I am having tough time finding a sweet spot.

For my current project, I need 2D assets and I do not want to learn hand-drawing sprites for just this project. Making characters in Blender and exporting them as 2d images is really convenient for me. My team will move on to 3D game projects after this one finishes, so I do not want to waste time learning hand-drawn sprites, but rather learn Blender.

Anyone with experience on a workflow like that? Any help would be appreciated.
