Best version of Unreal Engine for my PC?

I want to have Unreal Engine on my own device but I don’t know that with which version I will get the best performance and features. I want best features with best performance. As by now, probably most of you have guessed that I have a **Potato PC :stuck_out_tongue:

Here are Specs of my PC:**

  • Intel Pentium 4 E5400
  • 2.7 GHz Dual-Core
  • 2 GB Ram
  • Windows 7 32 Bit
  • DirectX 11

Which UE version would you suggest that will run on my PC at max performance with best features possible???
~Thanks in Advance!

Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run any release of UE4

OK. I don’t want UE4. Will UE3 or UDK work on this “Potato” PC?
~Thanks for the response

That would depend on what kind of graphics processor it has. It’ll run, but possibly not very well.

The 32-bit operating system is a killer - some parts of UE3/4 literally won’t work under a 32-bit OS.

Well, I have a Intel G41 Express Chipset which is an integrated one and has 32 MB Vram! That’s why I call my PC a **“Potato”. **So, will UDK work on this thing? I have already downloaded UDK and I am going to test it. I will tell you the results!

Even if it loads, it will be impossible to work with.
Back in 2013 I had a superior machine than yours and UDK was so slow that it was almost impossible to open a single menu, let alone select an operation.

I have IMac Mid 2011, 21.5 inch
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB

Which version of Unreal engine is best for me?

I am a smiliar low spec pc, version 4.23.1 works flawless(have not had a single crash in over 3 weeks), I have had issues with 4.24.3, and have yet to try 4.25.1.

here are my specs :

2.83 quad cpu
8 gd ddr ram
nivida GeForce gtx 750 ti

I got this tower refurbished off of newegg 5 years ago for about 400 total : 250 for the tower, 150 for the card ( card was new )

cool part is newegg offers a 1 year warranty on their refurbished system, so its almost no risk and u get to save a ton of cash.

so if u need a new system that can run unreal check out newegg refurbished section for good deals,

if you can help it, try to wait until unreal 5 comes out(in a year I believe), I believe the requirments might go up?

otherwise you might end up wasting money on a system that will “not” run the new engine : purely theory crafting here about system requirments going up.

hope this helps.

God Bless you. May Jesus Christ be Charitable unto you.

Acts 10 : 33 - 48, google it, its Awesome.
