Best practices for video content in menu background

Hi,

I’m getting to grips with using UMG for menu creation and would like to use a videofile as an animated background for my menu. Now I’m not sure if I should use a h264 video file or a spritesheet and am have a hard time finding any relevant or up-to-date information on this topic.

Does anyone here have any experience with this?

Using something industry standard like h.264 should be fine. Although there are other types of video compression you can that will save u some mb’s
