Hi!
We’ve had a lot of problems in the past with Reality Capture projects being very fragile when archiving and reopening projects after some time –
I now need to share a RC project with source files in multiple directories with my 3d Artist so they can reexport and bring it into Z Brush etc.
Is there any sort of “project management” section in RC, which would basically take bundle all of the necessary source images, and the project files, and the RC license, and make it easier to share it with someone else?
Thanks!
Hi, no we don’t have such a function, but I’ll make a feature request for it. If both you and the artist have ENT licences you just need to send the rcproj file and the associated folder, and also any inputs used in the project. They can then either open up the rcproj file and change the paths to all of the images using find and replace, or just open the project and then they will be prompted to browse for a the files, RC will scour any directory a file is in for any other files. If using PPI the process is the same but also send them the license file for the inputs.
