With biped animations, you would need to use their skeleton, skin-weights, etc. Your thoughts on using something like iClone is close to the main solution for something like this, at least as far as I’m aware.
There is also Mixamo, but there again, you would be using their skeleton stuff.
Have you poked around with any of the free UE4 skeleton animations in the marketplace?
