Best NVMe SSD for Unreal Engine 5: Need Some Opinions

I’m looking for a good NVMe SSD mainly for Unreal Engine 5. My current storage is starting to feel slow when working with larger projects, especially when loading assets, shaders and moving files around.I’ve been doing quite a bit of research before buying. I checked reviews from Tom’s Hardware, TechPowerUp, PCMag and AnandTech, and also went through a bunch of forum discussions. A couple of SSDs keep coming up, so I’m trying to narrow it down.

  1. WD_Black SN8100 4TB NVMe SSD - PCIe 5.0x4
  2. Samsung SSD 990 PRO 2TB, PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280, Up to

Both have tons of reviews and the features look pretty good, but I’m not sure which one makes more sense specifically for Unreal Engine 5. I’m more interested in real-world experience than just benchmark numbers. If you’ve used either of these for UE5 or similar workloads, which one would you personally go with and why? Both have tons of reviews, features are amazing. I need your help to decide.

Thanks in advance.
