Best Maya > UE Rigging workflow?

I did a search and found some good threads, but am still searching. I’m pretty new to Unreal, but am really excited about what I’ve been learning.
Thanks for any tips or thread suggestions.

Questions:

I’m able to rig my bi-pedal model using the default quick rig tool in Maya, but wondering how to use a rig to make match the default bones in UR.

**Is the ART still current? (I saw it in the documentation, but looks like it was from many years ago, so not sure if it’s still the best workflow)?

Should I be rigging characters using the default Maya rigging quick rig, and importing / retargeting, or is there a better way?
