Hi! What do you think it is better?
Use some kind of neutral floor like chroma black floor, or may be use a high detailed floor like a covering of paper new?
At first I thought that a neutral one would be better to isolate the main object but after some test I start to think that is better a detailed texture floor to track and “grab” better our objetc.

it depends, what kind of object are you scanning and how look your objects. Also, it depends, how are you capturing the images.

But how I don´t know the variations or circumstances about you talking I only can ask you, depend of what exactly? What I would have to considere to choose one or other?
So far I have been using a chess table and the results has been great I have to say.

Any features found in the background will contribute to a better alignment, the more features the better (newspaper is good). When people use neutral backgrounds it’s often because they are using the turntable or the void method, and deliberately do not want the software to find any features in the background, that way the software will only find tie points on the object itself, any features detected in the background would completely mess up the alignment when using any technique where the object moves relative to it’s surroundings.

Thank you so much for your answer, you can´t imagine what so useful it is to me because you answer me one question and half.
For one side I was doubting about the floor how my post says, and your comment replied perfectly to that, all clear and I have to say that so far I´m using a wood chess table and it is working great.
But also, I was having a big problem to understand about how turntables works with RC ( I was thinking even to create another post…) even if there are a lot of posts talking about that. Here my point, usually I read that RC need that “me” are who move around the object because RC need that the picture was taken in different positions between them to be able to calculate the position and build the 3D model BUT for other side I see how other people is able to use turntables and RC, and you now went for it.
Could we talk more about this last point? What do you recommend me or what you usually use? It is just that turntables looks really useful when you have to scan, but I don´t have one to try it and I am afraid that the results are worse.

When using a turntable the position and orientation of the cameras is calculated relative to the object rotating. You can actually add newspaper or something else with many features to the turntable itself, so long is it rotates with the object. What you cannot have is some things with features rotating and also things with features stationary. The image you posted would work well, the background is jet black.
edit: turntables are not necessary, they just speed things up, and you have more control over lighting etc. But you can also get great results just walking around an object.

True! Without turntables I´m getting huge good results and I´m really happy with it and I got credits to export.
But how you said, it speed things up and you have more control over lighting and that is my point.
Now I know that it works and what I have to do it if I want to use it.
The workflow into RC is the same? I mean, align, etc, or I have to change something when I´m using turntables?
