Best alignment algorithm for photogrammetric reconstruction of a radio tower Post

Hi everyone,
I need to create a photogrammetric model of a radio/telecommunication tower (slender structure with thin metal elements).

I’m particularly concerned about the photo alignment stage, since the geometry is complex and repetitive (lattice structure, antennas, cables).

Which alignment algorithm or strategy would you recommend for this type of object?
For example:

  • feature-based vs. other approaches

  • specific settings or workflows in RealityCapture

  • tips to improve robustness when aligning images of thin structures

Any advice or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

You might need to use control points referenced on the ground for better accuracy. But if you cannot go back to recapture the images with the markers , this will not help.

Yes, the markers have already been included. The more specific question is how to set the alignment calculation algorithm: for example, Brown 3 or something else.
I also generated the mesh for a small part, but despite setting a decimation factor of 0.5, the mesh is very noisy.
