Beginner vs UE4 and Flex - fluid simulation, can I do it?

Hi,
I am an engineering student and I wanted to ask you if it is possible to make some kind of water simulation in UE4. I have heard that it’s easy to learn engine, so I thought I’d give it a try. So here is what I’d like to make:
A pool full of water with buoyancy, pressure and turbulence effects and a little submarine with 3 engines (screws) that would swim in that pool and of course be affected by water.

I have seen PhysxFlex demo and I hope it is possible to make that kind of simulation, problem is, I have never used neither UE4 nor PhysLab. To make things worse, I am not en expert in programming (but i know basics of c++).

Do you think that someone that have never done something like that can do it, or would it be better to abandon that idea?

If yes, can you please tell me where can i find some help (tutorials and so on). I have searched, but i have only found basic tutorials for UE4 on YT, and none for Flex (I have found some documentation, but it’s not very helpful for me).

Have you found some tutorials? I can’t find some either :///
