Hello everyone!
I’m looking to learn UE5 so that I can visualize some sports data, and I’m looking for tutorial suggestions.
Ultimately, this will be for live video production. Currently, I’m looking to do a bare-bones proof-of-concept. I want to confirm we can get the data into UE, and get meshes to
be drawn & animate based on external data. The end goal is something similar to this.
To give you context on what I want to do:
- Show the trajectory of a ball (I have the data as a polynomial formula)
- Show player limb tracking (I just want to have stick figures - not a fully-formed character)
I have a background in real-time render engines for video production character generators (e.g. XPression, VizRT, Chyron), but no experience with game engines.
I appreciate any guidance!
