Just a tip I wanted to share, esp for artists.
If you’re like me and you feel visually distracted by the glowing boxes around devices that use zones, like the Prop Manipulator or Mutator Zone, you can easily hide them in your Outliner using the eye-shaped Toggle Visibility button. This is a huge advantage over old Creative. You can actually hide any Actor in your outliner this way. I use it to hide walls/ceilings that get in my way.
When you hover your cursor over an actor in the Outliner, an eye icon will appear on its left. Click that eye to close it and open it, which toggles visibility for that actor.
I group all of my devices in a folder, which means I can toggle visibility for all devices at once by toggling visibility for that one folder.
Alternately, if you hide only the static mesh for a device, you can hide the colored box but keep the neon outline, which might be useful if you want to keep track of where devices are, but with less visual prominence. For some reason I was only able to do this with the Prop Manipulator not the Mutator.
Also, reminder that you can press the hotkey G key to hide some of the gizmos in your scene, like this one . Unfortunately at the moment some icons like the little light bulb icon remain. @Wertandrew has reported this, so hopefully it gets fixed.
Hope this helps!
