It would be nice to be able to obtain a SAC code as only an Island Creator.
I mean like your a Content Creator as an Island Creator right?
To me it doesn’t seem fair… Fortnite Islands are Content…
Especially if you are not into making videos and such as only an Island Creator.
Its tough to get a following making only videos as an Island Creator only you know?
I don’t understand what you mean, You dont need a SAC code to be an island creator. And if you mean island creators should get sac codes I dont think it makes sense because if you have a following less than 1k there’s no way you will meet the payout quota within the year and afaik there are no other perks that you get with being in the Support A Creator program
lol how do you not understand? Personally the minimum should be at least 2 years anyway so people have a chance to make it, instead of Epic Games munchin it. There are a lot of creators who make good maps and barely meet the minimum.
It would be nice if Island Creators had SAC codes so they can turn a profit or at least meet the minimum to help them out.

You do NOT need a SaC code to publish maps you only need to be an Island Creator to publish and monetize islands Island Creator Page

From my understanding you are saying that people who are part of the Island Creator Monetization Program should be able to be participate in the Media aka Support A Creator program even if they do not meet the follower qualifications right?

Ok so there are 2 programs, Both calling people in it “creators”
Support A Creator / Media Creator: This program’s only source of income is by putting the creator code when you are about to buy something from the shop. It requires you have atleast 1k of followers because it’ll literally be impossible to even reach payout if you don’t have enough people following and supporting you
Engamement Payout Program / Island Creator: This program’s only source of income is creating islands and people playing them. Being in this program allows you to publicly post your maps. Its requirements are NOT follower based but rather making sure you have spent a reasonable amount of time recently making maps

The feedback/request post is about being non-discriminatory for Content Creators.

Either way, Island Creators deserve SAC privileges as being Content Creators.

Last time I got a SAC payout was over a year ago, saying that I’m saying this to avoid competition is laughable I and many other pre-uefn creator just had it because that was the only way to publish islands before the island creator program was established. If you are not making content / don’t have a following it will not affect you at all because you need 100$ to reach payout for Support-A-Creator.
You are still called an island CREATOR
I don’t see anything discriminatory with the naming, you are playing islands because you want to play them. Putting the creator code of your favourite youtuber/influencer is meant for you to directly “Support - The - Creator”
There’s nothing stopping you from promoting your socials inside your islands if you want to go down the content creation avenue, if anything I’d recommend trying to make a community it can positively affect your maps.
Media Creators have no extra perks other than the fact that their creator tag can be used in the shop.

The Feedback/Request is about combining the system of Island Creators and SAC to one threshold. Fortnite players could support their favorite Island Creators in the item shop, especially if they don’t watch livestreamers… a lot of people don’t watch livestreams statistically…
FYI Fortnite used to have one program for everything. There even was a “support-a-creator” device, but they were removed for the betterness of the ecosystem, the intention was clear to differentiate Youtubers/Influencers with Map Makers.
And believe me even if they were to make all Island Creators to be also Media Creators since you are not allowed to ask people to support you inside the island you will not be getting any income from the players. As I said if you are to even realistically come close to reaching payout for support a creator, you will need to have more than 1k fans where at that point you could just apply for a Support A Creator.
