Here’s a work in progress Battle Bus device I created using Verse and some cinematic sequences! Let me know your thoughts!
I love that it is actually functional too. Do you just have the player spawned in a place where if they “jump” they hop out of the bus?
I created a level sequence that has a teleporter device attached on the bottom of the Battle Bus. In verse, I made a scuffed way of jumping out the bus where the player spawn pad is surrounded with a barrier and a mutator on top. Whenever the player jumps to the mutator and it activates, it subscribes to a function that calls the teleport method.
Very cool! While you were doing this, what do you think was missing or could be easier to do?
A feature that is missing is being able to move your camera perspective around the battle bus, the same way you would be able to do this in BR. It would also be cool to be able to modify sequence play speed in Verse.
