BASIC stuff, how do I get an asset I bought into unreal?

I’m not seeing in the documentation how to get something I bought from the asset store into the Unreal editor. I understand how to browse to a pack and install it manually. I do NOT understand how to download said pack. ( I can’t find a library of items I own either inside Unreal, or on the unreal marketplace) I imagine this is pretty easy, but not seeing any help in this?

Hi Drawn_Out, Welcome to the Forums.

In the Epic Games Launcher, in the Unreal Engine → Library tab. (Not to be confused with the ‘Library’ tab above “Unreal Engine”!) If you scroll down past your projects you’ll see your Vault with the marketplace assets you’ve purchased.

If you click “add to project” It will download the pack and add the assets to the specific project.

You’d need to do this for every project that you want the assets to be in. (I think the confusion might be coming from the expectation that you’d open up the editor and the assets would always be there.)

In the future, I think ‘Fab’ will work more like you’re expecting.

Let me know if you need any further clarification.

what if you are missing items in your vault?
I’ve been collecting free products over the months and I’m starting to see some strangely disappear. I can just search it up in the marketplace to find them again, but most of these products I can’t remember the name of. I’ve tried looking for a purchase history or something to find all the products I’ve been purchasing.
Is my vault bugged? Is anyone else’s vault missing items?

I have this Same issue and its really annoying. Because i was about to use some of them and now they are gone!!
