Bad orientation when chasing player

Hi,

I’ve created a little game in UE 5.2.1 where a zombie chases and attacks a player. At first I used the default FPS map and it worked fine but when I made my own map the zombie’s running orientation doesn’t match the direction it is going. I’ve already unchecked the “use controller rotation yaw” and checked the “orient rotation to movement” i dont know if it has something to do with the map configuration because in the default level works fine.

A few questions to get things started:

  • Would you mind sharing the blueprints you have so far?
  • How are you having the zombie face/follow the player?
  • Are you using custom animations that could be oriented the wrong way?
