Hello. I am brand new to Unreal Engine. I’m a Cinema 4D guy. I am looking to build a vehicle configurator for a retail web site. Example: the ability to choose a year and make/model of a vehicle and have the ability to change the paint color, add or remove options, etc while being able to spin the model or the camera around while building the vehicle. To start with, I’d just like to prove it to my client and see if this is a good option. I can pay for the help from anyone that has experience building something like this. Could work into extra work depending on my learning curve. Thank You…
There is a demo project which is a car configurator. Try that.
I did look at that. What I’m really trying to see, is if I can view a demo on a web browser (as if I was a customer visiting a web site), customizing a vehicle with the interface embedded on a web page that could be used on iOS, Computers, Android, etc… Is that possible?
UE4 had limited support for HTML5, which would let you embed something on the web, but I think Epic took it out of UE5 because it was rubbish.
