Automatic Translation for All Device Text in Fortnite Creative 1.0

Hello Epic Games,

I would like to request a feature that would greatly improve the experience for both creators and players in Fortnite Creative 1.0.

In UEFN, text used by devices can be automatically translated into each player’s language. However, this feature is missing from Creative 1.0, forcing creators to use a single language or manually create separate versions for different languages.

My suggestion is simple: add an “Automatic Translation” option or toggle for all devices and settings that contain text in Creative 1.0, using the same translation system that already exists in UEFN. When a map is published, any text entered into supported devices would automatically be displayed in each player’s selected language.

This should apply to every device or setting that allows creators to enter custom text, such as objectives, HUD messages, pop-ups, buttons, trackers, timers, dialogs, and any other text fields.

Benefits:

  • Makes Creative 1.0 maps accessible to players worldwide.
  • Saves creators a significant amount of time by eliminating the need to manually translate every text.
  • Provides consistency between Creative 1.0 and UEFN.
  • Since the translation system already exists in UEFN, this would simply bring the same functionality to Creative 1.0.

This would be a small addition with a huge positive impact on the Creative 1.0 community, making maps more accessible and easier to develop for a global audience.

Thank you for considering this request!
