Hello community. I am working on a project that needs to rig the bones and muscles for animals, specifically cats and dogs. I searched online and found a plugin called Advanced Skeleton, which really could speed up the process. However it is a Maya plugin. How could I effectively integrate it to my Unreal Engine workflow?
Not an answer,
But it would be nice to have a new base quadrup rig example with new quadrup control rig using new procedural stuff to learn from, the meerkat demo fantastic but now with 5.2 we need new proffesional control rig for quadrup, to jump start from. with the procedural stuff we could have a a base with four legs and neck head. with additional different bone options for ears, jaw, lips, eyes, tail, elephant trunk, cow’s udder . and cartoony options on them. then the quadrup base skeleton could functions like the mannequin skeleton where the would be lot community of animation easily retaget to between differnt animal.
optimal would also be like metahuman with separete body and head for easily variation and talking heads.
Okay, it seems that retargeting bones and animations might be a good way to solve this problem if I could manage to get the base animations done pretty nicely. Thank you!
