The plugin still works, but you’re right, the small icon doesn’t show up because Epic’s plugin template doesn’t take that into account.
Apologies, will be fixed in the next update.
You can still access the plugin from either the “Window” menu, or by clicking the thin icon-less button where you’d expect the icon to be.
can this cause flickering between lit and unllit looks - all of a sudden my scene flickers as i move towards and away from geometry
Nope. Sounds like an LOD thing maybe.

For some reason my objects always get the highest density, why this is happening? can i somehow preview the density without BUILD?

The latest updates for 4.18 (and maybe 4.17) should be able to preview lightmap density without building.
I get no change when previewing Density, nor i can make the Plugin work correctly , my meshes always get the highest density. Help me out please , can you give step by step what to do? , i think the plugin misses the level scale? also i get Lightmap streches , on items being stretched from on axis (etc walls)
Which version of UE are you using?
What AutoLightmapUEr preset are you using?
How big are your objects?
Lightmap stretching will just be your lightmap UVs, this tool would have no bearing on that

how can activate lightmap density in real time preview? One guy on plugin’s Marketplace page suggested me to add testUSM->InvalidateLightingCache(); and Itr->GetStaticMeshComponent()->InvalidateLightingCache() in the appropriate places in **SLightMapUErWidget.cpp. **But I don’t know where to put this lines of code?
Does anybody know where to put it or maybe how to solve this issue in another way?

“Go Deep” isn’t actually changing anything in build settings. Is it bugged? Using version 4.20.3, downloaded from itch.io.
