Hello all,
I need help with something: I’m using GeoTIFF image files as textures to material landscapes. They’re real life images and real live images and I need to automate the material process because I have thousands landscapes and materials.
You now if there is any what to automate the material landscapes to match them by GIS coordinates or something like that?
thanks!
transform the texture format into a compatible one? I’ll put it easy easy loads on blender and export 1m
I’m using QGIS to take it 1m and 2017x2017.
I need them like a GeoTIFF because of High-res. I know that like a png or JPG/JPEG i can import and texture them but I lost too much info by that way
i find this one and anoter guide googling 5m
y belnder have a plug for this stuff and gona make a nice clean version export redy for unreal engine

Second one looks awesome, I’ll try it.
BlenderGIS uses Google and MapBox info so, it is not useful for me right now, but thanks! (is not open data)
First option cannot be useful because I’m using UE5.
I’m using terraform to import the DEM with coordinates and the thing is that I need to import the TIFF image file and texture the lanscape mesh with it and it must be automatically alligned ( I thought the Georeference plugin should help me with this but there is not much info about it)

you can make the map in UN4 since it is a wel documented road and then import it into UN5 wen is over there should be no problem moving landscapes from 4 to 5
