"Auto hole" in landscape for level instances - e.g. house?

Hello

Looking for solution to create “auto hole” area in landscape. I know how to paint hole, this is different kind - or I just can’t see how it fully work :wink:

I’m creating landscape level, where houses, shelters and like this I will place as level instance. On flat terrain no problem, but on hills problem starts. Also some houses have basement, and it should be under terrain trough hole.

How to make instace with ready hole that will cut landscape when placed in world?

Howdy Vaheva, thank you for posting your question.

While this idea I am thinking of will not give you the exact results on the first try, I would read the documentation on Landscape Blueprint Brushes. These act like a stamp you can drag onto your landscape that will create the shapes/splines you define.

Thank you. Is see this method help with flatering terrain under building, but still I need real hole for underground access, caves etc. At least, they will be no procedural placed, so I can paint hole, just I wonder here is better, ready method.
