Authority Switching AI in Multiplayer

Problem with server-only AI is that when following a client he only sees him in the past and never where he is because of client-prediction
Either server can somehow predict by velocity and GUESS where he will go which can be inaccurate

Or like Elden Ring
Where I think they do authority switching so movement, damage detection are done on client that AI is “locked on”
Now UE BT are not built for this authority switching but maybe someone has done something like this or has any idea?
