Aura is an AI assistant and agent built specifically for Unreal Engine. It’s not a general-purpose coding tool that happens to work with Unreal, it’s purpose-built for the way game developers actually work. HELP PLEASE. I have downloaded Aura, I opened it on desktop without UE and tried 2 questions. I cannot see Aura in Plugins inside Unreal 5.7 and Aura will not open from desktop shortcut.
Love this project! Thank you very much for coming up with this as it should save a lot time to handle Bluprints and less C involved. Btw is it available in Mac? Or it has to be windows?
Hey Russty! Sorry about that just seeing this now, are you still running into this issue? A couple things to double check:
On installation did you select UE 5.7 when installing Aura?
Any chance your project is on a different drive from the editor installation? For example Unreal is installed on C drive and the project is on D drive. This isn’t always an issue, but have heard folks find success when making sure their project is on the same drive.
Thanks for signing up we’re doing a phased rollout so we can squash bugs and get better at handling the load as access expands. The wait shouldn’t be too long though!
Definitely see the potential with this product. I’ve tried the free plan so far and although there are many bugs and performance improvements to work out, I think this product will become huge just like Cursor did. Let me know when the AI can edit existing blueprints and then you guys have a new subscriber. Because right now, even with the setting turned on the AI refuses to work on existing blueprints.
Hey that should actually work, but sometimes it forgets the settings (sorry, we’re working on that) I’d try it again but in a new thread (and make sure it’s toggled for that section) I just tried it on the latest version and it worked for me. But let me know if you run into any issues, and what the error is.
