I found a website that is selling an Augmented Reality plugin for the Unreal Engine, but this is no where to be found on the Marketplace. Any reason it’s not in the market place and does Unreal have any plans to implement its own Augmented Reality options?
There can be a number of different reasons why it’s not on the marketplace. First the creators of the plugin have to submit it to the marketplace. After it it is submitted, it has to go through an approval process. Epic rejects alot of marketplace submissions. The plugin approval process seems to take longer than other assets, so it could be it’s still in submission. It could also be the creators don’t want to pay the 30% commision to epic so they never submitted.
