Audio Effects Studio replaces the default property-grid editors for every built-in Unreal Engine audio effect with beautiful, purpose-built visual interfaces inspired by professional audio plugins and DAW interfaces.
Unreal Engine ships with a powerful real-time audio engine, a full suite of Source Effects and Submix Effects covering EQ, dynamics, reverb, delay, filtering, distortion, and more. But the editing experience is a flat list of raw number fields. Audio artists coming from Pro Tools, Ableton, or any modern DAW are left without the visual feedback they rely on. Audio Effects Studio fixes this.
Double-click any audio effect preset asset in the Content Browser and a dedicated visual editor opens automatically. Every effect gets knob-driven controls with logarithmic scaling, formatted value readouts, and Ctrl+Click reset to default. Real-time visualizations: Parametric EQ curves, filter frequency responses, dynamics transfer curves, reverb decay graphs, multiband crossover displays, and tap delay bar charts — are drawn in pure Slate with zero texture or material overhead.
The plugin covers all 27 built-in effects:
16 Source Effects: Bit Crusher, Chorus, Convolution Reverb, Dynamics Processor, Envelope Follower, EQ, Foldback Distortion, Mid-Side Spreader, Motion Filter, Panner, Phaser, Ring Modulation, Simple Delay, Source Filter, Stereo Delay, Wave Shaper.
11 Submix Effects: Convolution Reverb, Delay, Dynamics, EQ, Filter, Flexiverb, Multiband Compressor, Reverb, Stereo Delay, Stereo-to-Quad, Tap Delay.
Hold Ctrl while double-clicking any effect to fall back to the standard Unreal property editor at any time.
