I made a project in UE4.25 source build on PC first. It’s an art piece that has 25 audio sources. The level opens instantly and the audio runs fine on PC. When I migrated it to Mac (also source build) to build the Mac version, the audio takes a really long time to load. In the editor, the game pauses for a while as things load, and in the packaged version, the level opens right away, but the audio sources gradually appear one by one.
After making a few test projects, it seems any project with a lot of audio sources on a Mac will have this issue. Is this a known problem on Macs? Or is there something in the audio settings I’m missing? Again, this does not occur on a PC.
