Audio in editor but not in PIE?

Im new to audio in Unreal, and started with some very low hanging fruit. I added a notify to my walk animation to play a sound with each footstep, this works as intended. It works in my blendspaces as well. However, in the game, no sound is playing.

Theres so FEW places for me to have made a mistake here, so Im at a loss as to what could possibly be keeping this from playing. Other sounds play if I trigger them (Whether its a 2d audio track or a sound from my character that I apply an attenuation to) so I know my audio is working, but its not playing my footstep audio.

In the game you can use au.Debug.SoundWaves 1 to post audio information to viewport. You may check if your footstep audio is playing.
