Audio from sequencer itself driving material?

I have recently begun creating a LOST based VR experience and need some help getting my Audio channel from the sequencer to be the source of my audio driving my material…

how might I do this ?

the audio file itself has been silenced at the moments without the flash sound for the most part

but I’d like to use the audio channel from the sequencer itself as the source…

so all I need to do is drag in my flash sounds into the track… at the places I want the flash within the cloud

and it will play overtop of the normal audio track which is not driving anything…

anyone have a pointer or two ?
this seems like it’s a simple mouse click away from working
