Audio cutting out when moving in range of SimpleSplineAudioComponent

I’m not able to reproduce it myself, but I’ve had videos sent to me by players showing all audio completely cutting out (with a little “pop”) when they move in range of a SimpleSplineAudioComponent. I use these splines for running water sounds on winding streams.

When they move back out of range of it, it cuts back in.

Does anyone know what might be causing this, or even any speculation?

It only seems to affect a very small number of players. But happens consistently for these players.
