Hi! I have been working with audio and audio recording in 4.22 and have found a strange issue. When I use the “Record Output” and “Finish Recording Output” nodes (triggered by key presses for each) in standalone mode, the produced audio file only has sound when I use it in conjunction with sounds played through an audio component. When I try to record a media stream that I’m playing (and able to hear as the program is running), the produced audio file is the proper length but has absolutely no sound.
I have tried adding Media Sound Components to the Media Player but no such luck so far. Any possible ideas for how to fix this?
