Attack Animation causes character to clip through ground

Hey all, I have a problem that I cannot for the life of me figure out. I have a melee animation hooked up to left click, but when the animation plays the character drops below the capsule, ultimately going ankle deep into the ground, then rises back up after the animation finishes. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the reply, I tried enabling Root Motion through your link and it still hasnt made a difference. Oddly enough, I didn’t have a “red line” that the guide said should be there when viewing the animation with Root Motion disabled.

Is it additve animation if yes you will meed other functionality in anim bp
