Attachment Keep World in Sequencer not working

Is attachment set to “keep world” or “snap to target” broken in sequencer (UE 5.5.2)? No matter what I choose the object attaches using relative location.

I’m testing by attaching a simple sphere to a socket in a skeletal mesh. This used to work in previous versions of UE but now the object jumps form its position at attachment to the same position but relative to the socket (relative position), regardless if I choose keep world or snap to target.
