Attach Actor to Commponent, weapon does not appear once i touch it.

I have just started UE5 so please bare with me, I am trying to get the weapon to attach to the player character after you overlap it, once I touch the weapon it disappears and I do not know where it went or if its attached to the character at all. The image below shows what I have set up for the weapon. if you need more info i’m more then happy to give it.

Make sure the socket name is exactly like on the skeleton (best to right click copy it’s name from the skeleton and paste it in the socket name). Set Location Rule & Rotation Rule to “Snap to Target”.

Make sure the Poly City Mesh is a skeletal mesh with the socket Weapon Socket.

Thank you, I for got to change the Socket name, the weapon now connects to his hand. now i have a whole new problem, my character just runs in a circle xD but thank you for helping me.

I also figured out why the character was running in a circle, i needed to turn off the Weapon Mesh Collision.
